I had been living in Spain for a couple months now, and my Sister and bro in law had reason to be in Sweden for 2 weeks for work, so I took that opportunity for visits up in Sweden.
Going through Djurgården, we came across an old windameel and some crazy birds at the cafe around the middle of the park.
The crunch of yellow leaves beneath my feet was a welcome change from warm summer activities and the move to still-warm Barcelona.
Among the 4 or 5 days I spent with them up in mostly Stockholm, we took a long day trip up to Uppsala and back to see the burial grounds and other old sights.
We wandered a bit, tourist-stomping around on the ancient burial mounds, and we then stopped at a cafe to get some sweet sweet Mjöd (mead)
T'were some good times galavanting around Sweden with family and a welcome break from not-fall, but soon Spain too would be descending into cooler temperatures as well, yet still not quite as "fall-esque."
